ABOUT DOMINATOR NORTH CANTERBURY
We are Christchurch’s largest Dominator dealer and have been operating for 20 years. Dominator has the ability to meet high supply demands as we employ 22 staff members and also contract work to 4 independent installers.
Specialising in the supply and installation of all styles of garage doors and automatic openers; along with the manufacture, supply and installation of our own range of gates, only quality materials are used in our factory located in Christchurch.
Our dedicated service division is operated by experienced service technicians to efficiently support all our products and provide a complete range of spare parts including remotes and other garage door components, such as springs, all through our showroom and office.
We have a fully equipped showroom, complete with operational doors, sample panels, colour swatches, brochures and friendly staff!

A Tip from Dominator North Canterbury
Garage Doors are like cars, they need regular looking after too.
Dominator recommends getting your garage door serviced within the first 12 months of it being installed (to adjust spring tension etc.) and then once every 2 years thereafter.
This is based on average usage, so you may require shorter service intervals with higher usage and/or harsh (i.e. coastal/dusty) environments.
One further tip, you can use most general car cleaning products on the face of your garage door to help keep it clean. (Just make sure it’s nothing abrasive such as cutting compound.)
