Mike Saunders is the owner and operator of Dominator Garage Doors Taupō.
We have been involved in the building industry for the past 35 years and have confidence in the renowned garage door brand Dominator. Our doors are made in New Zealand and produced in our large Christchurch factory under strict quality controls. Research and development are also given high priority, along with continual performance testing criteria.
Our long-serving staff have the knowledge and expertise in this very specialised field. Mike's building knowledge, quality of workmanship, and eye for detail are assets to the retrofit market.
With our mobile vehicles, we bring you the best quality and service available and can come to you at your convenience. We also have a wider range of products, such as Heritage gates and fences and oversized commercial doors.

We cover a large geographical area across the Central Plateau region, which extends from Waiouru to Taumarunui and across to Taupō, Turangi and outlying settlements around the lake, such as Omori and Kuratau. Mike has owned his own construction company in Taupō for over 12 years. He has worked on construction projects from domestic housing to bridges and platforms on the cycleway around the district.
Mike has also been involved in major commercial and civil projects, such as the water treatment plant and bridges for the new state highway bypass around Taupō.
